Amphenol to exhibit at DVD show Millbrook 23rd – 24th June

Amphenol is to exhibit at DVD show at Millbrook, Bedfordshire on 23rd and 24th June. Launching the all new Terrapin - the next generation of SCE connectors, and also Bulldog - the new generation of quick release breakaway connectors.

DVD is Defence Equipment and Support’s (DE&S) annual stakeholder event for the Land Equipment and Joint Support Chain communities, together with the Air Commodities team. Bringing together the armed forces, accredited defence industry with the acquisition community, DVD provides a unique opportunity to learn about, discuss and experience the equipment and support that is critical to the success of the UK’s armed forces.

Held on 23 and 24 June at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, it is organised by DE&S, which is the part of the MOD responsible for equipping and supporting the UK's armed forces for current and future operations.

Last year's hugely successful event attracted authorised visitors from across the defence community, with over 320 small, medium and large companies displaying equipment, systems and services including protected mobility and general support vehicles, tented accommodation, clothing, medical supplies, fuel and test equipment.

This year sees Land Equipment’s Individual Capability Group (ICG) making DVD its stakeholder event with a particular emphasis on the creation of the Integrated Soldier System Executive (ISSE) Team which is responsible for developing the Soldier System Architecture for the 2020 vision of the soldier.
