Meet Stingray: A revolutionary 360º non-keyed connector

Our new Stingray connector family is a firm favourite amongst our engineers and clients alike. Developed with a laser-sharp focus on the end user, Stingray offers a compact, flexible connector that’s perfect for body-worn applications.

For first responders, security and military

Stingray features a magnetic, non-keyed mating system which allows the connector to be easily mated without the need for pre-alignment. It also offers 360º rotation, which means the device-side of the connector can rotate freely against the body-worn side without breaking contact.

The connector is self-aligning and sits flat against the body, which means easy usage in situations where mobility or visibility may be compromised.

A no compromise connector

Despite its flexibility, Stingray still offers impressive functionality, compatible with USB 2.0, ethernet, power and audio signal requirements – all while IP68 sealed and rated for more than 5,000 mating cycles.

Better still, the connector is wipe-clean, which means mud, dirt, sand, liquid, and debris won’t hurt or hinder your mission, however difficult the environment.

And finally, Stingray is available as part of the Molliflex vest system – ideal for bespoke bodyworn applications in emergency services and military.
